Brian Napack Joins Board of Isolation Network, Parent Company of Digital Distribution Companies, INgrooves & INscribe Digital
SAN FRANCISCO, CA, November 6th, 2013 – Brian Napack, former president of book publisher Macmillan, has joined the Board of Directors for Isolation Network, the parent company to e-book distributor INscribe Digital and digital music distributor INgrooves. Napack fills a board seat held by majority owner, Sham- rock Capital, a leading private equity fund focused on media, entertainment and communications. Shamrock Capital made a significant investment in Isolation Network in 2010 that allowed the company to expand its e-book distribution platform for INscribe Digital and fueled the acquisition of Fontana Distribution by INgrooves.

Brian Napack joined Providence Equity Partners LLC as a senior advisor in 2012, after serving as president of Macmillan, the global publisher, in the U.S. from 2006 to 2011. During his tenure at Macmillan, Mr. Napack oversaw businesses in education, consumer books, digital media and magazines and managed the growth of Macmillan’s digital businesses. Prior to Macmillan, Mr. Napack was a partner at global management consulting firm L.E.K. Consulting, and was founder and CEO of ThinkBox, an educational software company. Previously, he worked for The Walt Disney Company and held senior roles at Simon & Schuster and at the consulting company A.T. Kearney.
